Our newest race circuit - Hampton Downs to original pre war Donington pictures;  Mallory Park to Pukekohe; Whangarei street races to recent Goodwood events, not to mention the successful ERC AES/TradeZone/Tracer Classic Race Series in NZ, this site has a fair spread of classic cars from NZ and the UK.  Click on links or pictures.

HAMPTON DOWNS - Minor events kicked off November 2009 but the big meeting was January 2010.  Wow! 

With 125 cars from overseas, this was a stunning weekend to have the official opening of the Hampton Downs race circuit.  Just a small sample of the  700 pictures taken.

AES/TradeZone & TRACER CLASSIC RACE SERIES NZ

The ERC race series formerly better known as the Leisuretime/Tracer Classic Series, currently sponsored by AES (Auckland Engineering Supplies) and Tracer Interiors & Construction is now in two speed groups catering for pre 1977 road-going European Saloons, Sports & GT cars.  Information on the series structure, drivers and cars plus loads more info including the local classic race calendar.

MG MAGNETTE V8 -  project progress.  Putting a 3.5 V8 engine into a 1956 MG ZA Magnette.  Not for the purists...

Check out Mark's website, Marktime, for the in depth results of many meeting - includes individual lap times and fascinating overtaking graphs. Most cars now carry transponders so you'll need to go to the AMB Website for results.

MARCOS VOLVO 3 LITRE  

Owned since 1991.  Lots to say - eventually, but used as a classic road/race car and an eventful ownership so far.  Not much on as yet, too busy elsewhere...
