MONZA Ltd

A bit of a mix again at the moment, but MONZA Ltd was initially set up as a tourism company primarily to manage and develop a rental apartment at the Hampton Downs Motor Lodge, part of the Hampton Downs Motorsport complex just south of Auckland. 

With a superb trackside view from the balcony, and even from the lounge area, MONZA grabbed the best two bedroom unit of the 80 apartments, upper floor, Amon block - named after Chris Amon of course, unit 111.

Although the apartment day to day running is managed by the Hampton Downs Motor Lodge office, you can reserve this premium apartment directly -  monza at tops.co.nz  (direct email link has been disabled to reduce automated Spam attacks). 

We have also run our our first  race meeting November 29th 2009 - and this was also incorporating the celebration of 50 years of Marcos cars.

  Several other top events are also in the pipeline so to reserve this prime unit, bookings will need to be very early and the best way will be through MONZA Ltd.  The apartment number is 111... 

Our unit has been furnished to a high standard.  The furniture is all NZ manufactured and in both bedrooms, there is a king size Sleepyhead (NZ manufactured) bed, that can be split into two single beds, giving good flexibility. The lounge also incorporates a sofa bed so this luxury unit will comfortably accommodate up to six people with an unbeatable trackside view.

From the picture above right you can see the spectacular dropping hairpin (turn 4) and in the distance, the exit to turn 2.  To the right you will also see turns 3 and 5 on the national Circuit.  Once the track extensions have been  completed, you will also get a good view of the northern end of the track.

MONZA Ltd will also be running other tourism and motorsport related ventures from within the company.

• MONZA Ltd is already involved in the organisation and promotion of classic car race meetings, aimed specifically at classic saloons, sports and GT cars - our own classes plus Alfa Romeo and BMW and the first MONZA meeting was November 29th 2009 on the national Circuit.  DVD available soon.
